About the project:
At the Sparsh Event 2023 held at GMDC Ahmedabad, I developed a series of interactive games to engage and educate visitors in a unique and immersive way. Utilizing technologies like Unity, Kinect, Leap Motion, and tablet-based interfaces, I created a diverse set of games that combined physical activity, touch interaction, and cognitive challenges.
Games Developed:
At the Sparsh Event 2023 held at GMDC Ahmedabad, I developed a series of interactive games to engage and educate visitors in a unique and immersive way. Utilizing technologies like Unity, Kinect, Leap Motion, and tablet-based interfaces, I created a diverse set of games that combined physical activity, touch interaction, and cognitive challenges.
Games Developed:
- Run to Girnar (3D Body Tracking Game): Using Kinect body tracking, players could physically interact with the game, running in place to virtually race towards Girnar, blending fitness with entertainment in a fully immersive 3D environment.
- Paap Puniya (Good Deeds Catching Game): This Kinect-based game allowed players to catch "good deeds" while avoiding "bad deeds," promoting awareness and positive behavior through physical interaction.
- Color Game Quiz (Air Touch Quiz with Leap Motion): Leveraging Leap Motion for air touch interaction, this quiz game presented players with a series of questions related to colors and required them to select the correct answer using hand gestures in the air, providing a hands-free, engaging quiz experience.
- Tablet-Based Games: A variety of interactive games, including a memory game and a "choose the right option" game, were designed for tablet devices, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.
My Role:
I was responsible for the complete development of these interactive games, from conceptualization and design to programming and integration with advanced hardware. I worked with Unity to develop 3D and Kinect-based games, while also incorporating Leap Motion for touchless interaction. Additionally, I designed and implemented tablet games to cater to a wide range of users. This event allowed me to combine my skills in game development, hardware integration, and user experience design to create an engaging and interactive experience for the event's visitors.
