About the project:
Chasing Stars is a cinematic Unreal Engine project created for university electives on SDG and Unreal Engine. The project explores light pollution and sustainable coexistence with nature. In the story, a character enjoys a magical, glowing garden at night, but notices moths and flies trapped by artificial lights. Through observation and reflection, they turn off the garden lights, allowing fireflies to illuminate the space naturally, and finally witness the star-filled sky. The narrative emphasizes awareness of environmental impact and promotes mindfulness toward sustainable lighting.

My Role:
Developed a realistic and immersive garden environment with pathways, benches, ground lamps, and natural elements. Designed dynamic lighting to match green screen footage, capturing day-to-night transitions and emotional storytelling. Developed Milky Way VFX to reinforce narrative themes and enhance visual impact.
